Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to support public and private projects in the Greater Philadelphia Region. The successful candidate will plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

">">

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Maintaining up-to-date project progress information and cost of labor and material data for project control and analysis.">">
  • Creatingscheduling timelines and reviewing schedules with the superintendent for each project.">">
  • Working as a team with assigned foremen and superintendents to build projects in a controlled manner.">">
  • Coordinating with purchasing to requisition materials and furnish information for proper coding of invoices.">">
  • Providing modifications resulting in change orders.">">
  • Sharing information with the estimator in processing plan revisions for change orders and distributing as required.">">
  • Processing Additional Work Authorizations (AWAs) for change order submissions.">">
  • Coordinating and processing change orders or technical problems with client requirements, suppliers, superintendents, and subcontractors.">">
  • Reviewing project cost reports daily.">">

Requirements

">">

We are seeking a highly qualified individual with a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or relevant field from an accredited four-year college or university.

">">

Five years of experience in heavy civil constructions relevant to this region are required. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

">">

A driver's license and clean driving record are also necessary.

">">

Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as proficiency in computer skills including internet and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

">">

Able to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed.

">">

Able to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, etc.) related to the job.

">">

Preferred Qualifications

">">

Ten years of experience in heavy civil constructions relevant to this region.

">">

Certified PE.

">">

OSHA and/or other applicable safety certifications and training.

">">
