Job Overview

Atlantic Traffic Design Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects, staff, and clients, while overseeing and preparing traffic/parking studies, corridor planning, feasibility studies, and safety audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects, staff, and clients
  • Oversee and prepare traffic/parking studies, corridor planning, feasibility studies, and safety audits
  • Assist in the preparation of specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as work zone traffic, intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, DOT access permitting, control plans, and traffic signal operations analysis
  • Coordinate with field inspection staff and serve as an on-site project representative

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
  • PE, PTOE (desirable)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Expert witness testimony
  • Experience with CTDOT design standards, NYSDOT/NYCDOT experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Driver's License
