Columbia University seeks a skilled and experienced professional to serve as its Assistant Director, Annual Fund. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing the university's annual giving program, managing a portfolio of leadership annual fund donors, and implementing new strategies for continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and optimizing donor portfolios to ensure maximum return on investment and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Developing and executing fundraising strategies that align with the university's goals and objectives.
  • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing donors, as well as cultivating new ones.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across various departments to achieve shared goals.
  • Tracking and reporting performance metrics to inform future decision-making.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in development, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, stewardship, and relationship-building.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
