PACU
POSITION SUMMARY:
· Valid RN license or permit issued by the State Board of Nurse Examiners is required. The Travel RN will have the opportunity to work in various nursing departments based on competency within designated facilities as necessary. These departments may include, but are not limited to PACU.
The RN is accountable for directing, planning, and organizing nursing activities on the unit during an assigned shift, with a focus on the needs of patients, physicians, and staff.
The RN is responsible for delivering proficient patient care through the nursing process in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. The RN coordinates patient care through the nursing process in alignment with established policies and procedures. The RN collaborates with patients/families, medical staff, nursing, ancillary, and other team members; serves as a patient advocate; and maintains up-to-date knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with a valid license to practice in the State. · A minimum of two years of relevant clinical nursing experience is required.COMPANY OVERVIEW:
