DEPARTMENT:

PACU

POSITION SUMMARY:

· Possession of a current RN permit or licensure from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State to practice professional nursing. The Travel RN will be eligible for assignments across various nursing departments of expertise within designated facilities as required. These departments may encompass, but are not limited to PACU.

The RN is responsible for overseeing, planning, and organizing nursing activities on the unit during an assigned shift, focusing on the needs of patients, physicians, and staff.

  • The RN is accountable for delivering proficient patient care through the nursing process in alignment with established policies and procedures.
  • The RN is tasked with coordinating patient care through the nursing process in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • The RN is responsible for facilitating care among patients/families, medical staff, nursing, ancillary, and other team members; acts as a patient advocate; and maintains up-to-date knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • · Graduate of an accredited Nursing program, with a valid license to practice in the State.
  • · At least two years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
