Steward Health Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department on a per diem basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Total Nursing Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Participate in Patient and Family Teaching: Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Lead Interdisciplinary Team: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including assessment data, care plans, and patient outcomes.
- Administer Medications and Treatments: Safely administer medications and treatments, following established policies and procedures.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of RN experience.
- Certification/Licensure: MA RN License, BLS and/or ACLS required.
- Additional Certification: ICU-ACLS, Emergency Department-PALS and ACLS, Operating Room - ACLS, PACU-ACLS, PALS, Interventional-PALS and ACLS, MORCAP- Certification for Addiction Nursing preferred.
