Key Responsibilities
  • Market Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of markets in assigned regions.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain long-term relationships with partners, dealers, and customers.
  • Dealer Support: Work closely with dealers in assigned regions to ensure they have everything needed for optimal success.
  • New Business Development: Respond to potential new dealers within your region and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Order Management: Review daily order activity of sales areas and assist in problem-solving by identifying substitutions or replacements if needed.
  • Communication: Assist in communications with dealers regarding any issues, such as order/stock situations.
  • Event Planning: Attend and conduct dealer events, providing information and feedback regarding product enhancements and development.
  • Marketing Strategy: Assist in developing marketing plans and strategies to drive sales growth.
  • CRM Management: Record all interactions using a CRM system.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in inside and/or outside sales.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and learn.
  • Customer Focus: Must be customer-focused, with effective communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to work individually and as a team.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel as required by the role, approximately 25-30%.
  • Equine Industry Knowledge: Helpful but not required: familiarity with equine industry practices, terminology, and products.
