Job Summary

Amazon's ROC team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dispatch Operations Specialist to assist in the resolution of stakeholder issues related to daily freight movements flowing into and out of our North American fulfillment centers and associated fulfillment network.

This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to quickly provide solutions and resolution to challenges.

Key responsibilities include delivering outstanding carrier and driver experience, working in a fast-paced environment, and adhering to schedules. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service, transportation, and/or supply chain environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional carrier and driver experience through research, problem-solving, and effective communication.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to schedules and supporting workload surges as needed.
  • Use internal systems to gather data and support reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions and effectively communicate insights.
  • Provide support to field teams in driver assignment, load acceptance, and driver/equipment availability.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office.
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • Ability to work 40 hours/week and overtime as required.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
