We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at Digital Federal Credit Union / DCU.
About the Role:As a Member Service Representative, you will play a vital role in contributing to our success by identifying members' needs, providing exceptional service, and helping them achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, while ensuring end-of-day balancing.
- Understand and explain all DCU financial products and services, and complete member requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Achieve individual referral goals by building strong business relationships, educating, and cross-selling appropriate financial products and services.
- Adhere to all DCU policies and procedures, including security compliance and risk management guidelines.
- Provide coverage in other DCU areas, such as other branches, Information Center, or support departments, as needed.
- Identify and submit efficiency and process improvement ideas to enhance our services.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior cash handling experience.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Technical skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
