We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Representative to join our team at HNTB. As a key member of our Construction Services Group, you will play a critical role in supporting our construction projects and ensuring their successful completion.
Key Responsibilities- Provide construction site field and office support and resources during construction phases of projects.
- Apply construction engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assignments and assist the Resident Engineer in partnership with the project team.
- Maintain project data, including drawings and specifications, and coordinate testing and quality control inspections.
- Prepare reports on construction progress and perform other duties as assigned.
- Associates degree in a relevant field and 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications, as well as basic math skills and computer skills.
- Ability to recognize, document, and escalate field issues, and to calculate pay quantities.
- Understanding of change conditions and document control, with direction from more experienced staff.
- National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level 1 or Construction Manager-in-Training (CMIT).
- Training in digital construction management software such as Constructware, Asite, or similar.
