The Energy and Environmental Group has a national practice, regularly advising clients on complex energy transactions, energy project development, energy project financing, and the legal and practical implications of various state and federal policy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on energy transactions, project development, and financing;
  • Assist in the development of energy projects, including research and analysis;
  • Collaborate with the Energy and Environmental Group to integrate commercial transactional elements with federal and state environmental and energy regulation;
  • Conduct research and analysis on state and federal policy initiatives;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in energy and environmental law;
  • Superior research and writing skills;
  • Ability to synthesize legal, political, and practical considerations;
  • Ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple projects;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
