We are seeking a skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at Franciscan Health, a non-profit healthcare ministry with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice, providing excellent customer service, and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, or direct callers to the appropriate staff for assistance.
- Work within an electronic medical records system to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information.
- Collect patient payments, apply payments and adjustments to patient accounts, and balance daily encounter forms and cash drawers.
- Perform additional daily administrative tasks based on practice specialty.
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year of customer service experience
- 1 year of healthcare experience (preferred)
