Critical Care Nurse

SSM Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the 2E Intensive Care Unit. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Obtain comprehensive patient data to develop a holistic picture of the patient's needs or condition.
- Analyze and synthesize data to determine diagnosis or conditions relevant to care.
- Identify optimal patient outcomes in collaboration with the patient, family, and interprofessional team.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain outcomes, using clinical judgment in collaboration with the patient, family, and interprofessional team.
- Implement the plan, employing strategies to promote and maintain a safe environment, coordinating implementation with the patient, family, and interprofessional team.
- Evaluate processes and progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Contribute to the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, evaluating your own practice, and maintaining current knowledge and competence.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice, collaborating with the patient, family, and interprofessional team.
- Use clinical inquiry and integrate best evidence into practice.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- No experience required.
