Critical Care Nurse

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the 2E Intensive Care Unit. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Obtain comprehensive patient data to develop a holistic understanding of patient needs and conditions.
- Analyze and synthesize data to determine diagnoses and conditions relevant to care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interprofessional teams to identify optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, employing strategies to promote a safe environment and coordinate implementation with patient, family, and interprofessional team.
- Evaluate patient progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Contribute to the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, evaluating own practice and maintaining current knowledge and competence.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice, collaborating with patient, family, and interprofessional team.
- Integrate best evidence into practice, applying existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in health care to critical care nursing practice.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- No experience required.
