Critical Care Nurse

As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing your expertise and compassion to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities- Obtain comprehensive patient data to develop a holistic understanding of patient needs and conditions.
- Analyze and synthesize data to determine diagnoses and develop effective care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interprofessional teams to identify optimal patient outcomes.
- Implement care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical judgment to promote patient safety and well-being.
- Evaluate patient progress and outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Contribute to the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, maintaining current knowledge and competence in critical care nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, or equivalent.
This role is located in our 2E Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary's Madison Hospital. The unit is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires strong critical thinking and communication skills. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
