Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager is tasked with the promotion and strategic utilization of CSL Behring's product offerings while overseeing all facets of business growth within the designated territory. This role involves fostering and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospital decision-makers, specialty pharmacies, and distribution partners. The Regional Sales Manager will generate demand for the promoted products while showcasing robust clinical expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive product promotion and enhance product usage among targeted call points, such as healthcare professionals, hospitals, treatment centers, patient advocacy groups, and distributors. Establish strong customer advocates for the promoted products.
  • Oversee the establishment of new accounts and the expansion of existing accounts through effective relationship management, clear communication of technical product information, and proficient territory management.
  • Formulate and execute territory business strategies aligned with corporate objectives aimed at achieving or surpassing sales targets. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product features, competitive offerings, and distribution channels.
  • Implement key marketing initiatives to bolster market share for prioritized products.
  • Ensure appropriate call frequency with assigned targets and adjust as necessary to align with current product focus.
  • Stay informed about current clinical literature and relevant information from medical journals.
  • Utilize the CSL selling model (PS2) effectively during customer interactions, employing strong opening, probing, listening, and closing techniques.
  • Collaborate with patient support groups as appropriate, adhering to CSL Behring's standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor significant marketplace trends and opportunities, communicating insights to management.
  • Represent CSL Behring at relevant local customer engagements to enhance visibility of products and services.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including potential weekend commitments for customer or corporate events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or related fields.
  • Proven track record of success in field sales and market share enhancement.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical landscape and regulatory environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110K - $135K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to offer for this role. Individual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include sales incentives and potential equity.
