Position Overview

AEC Resources is seeking a skilled Senior Bridge Engineering Specialist to enhance their dynamic team.

  • Engage in the design and oversight of structural engineering initiatives aimed at public infrastructure enhancement.
  • Execute structural design assessments, formulate plans and specifications for construction endeavors, and oversee construction projects with on-site evaluations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of engineering documentation, conduct quantity assessments, and manage detailing and drafting tasks.
  • Perform bridge evaluations and load capacity assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering (Master's degree is advantageous).
  • A minimum of two years of pertinent structural engineering experience, particularly with bridges.
  • EIT Certification with the potential to obtain Professional Engineer status.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a constructive demeanor.
  • Experience with municipal or Department of Transportation (DOT) projects is highly regarded.
