We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a leading national provider of home health services, we are committed to revolutionizing the way care is delivered, one patient at a time.

About the Role

As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients, helping them transition home from the hospital and ensuring they receive the continuous care they need to thrive. Our nurses work closely with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans, addressing their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Documenting care provided in our system of record
  • Providing health education and training to patients and their families
Qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
