Private Duty Nurse RN

Job Summary:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide one-on-one care to our medically fragile patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in our system of record
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
- Communicate with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
