We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Resident to join our team in Reston, VA. As a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality counseling services to clients, including individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
- Work closely with a licensed supervisor to develop and refine your clinical skills.
- Participate in regular case consultations and peer supervision to ensure best practices and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with the Thriveworks team to provide exceptional client care and support.
- A comprehensive training program, including regular supervision and peer consultation.

- A graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- Approved by the Virginia State Board as a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting, treating depression and anxiety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a Fee-for-Service position, with an earning potential of $55,000 - $65,000 (based on the number of sessions and bonus opportunities). Your recruiter will discuss total compensation during the interview.
