Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Resident to join our team in Reston, VA. As a Resident, you will work under the supervision of a licensed therapist, providing counseling services to clients while gaining valuable experience and skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling services to clients, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed therapist to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct intakes, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive client records
  • Participate in regular supervision and consultation with licensed therapists
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Approved by the board as a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation

This is a Fee for Service position, with an earning potential of $55,000 - $65,000 (dependent on the number of sessions and bonus opportunities). Your recruiter will discuss total compensation during the interview.
