Job Summary

Municipal Employees Credit Union of Baltimore is seeking a skilled Junior Network Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing our information system network, including network and telecommunications hardware, patch management, risk, and server management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with network security, including support for upgrades and monitoring applications.
  • Install new applications, distribute and install software upgrades, and monitor daily network activities.
  • Resolve a wide range of issues and problems inherent in the day-to-day operation of a complex information systems network.
  • Provide key monthly reports to inform the adequacy of the network and complete Helpdesk request documentation.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Networking, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in enterprise network/telecommunication infrastructure.
  • CompTIA Network+ Preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work Environment

This position is located at Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Baltimore. The incumbent will be required to report in office for this role. Upon completion of 90 days, the incumbent may work a hybrid schedule.

Physical Demands

The successful candidate is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, keyboards or controls; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop or kneel. Must regularly lift and/or move files and equipment up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 25-pound objects.
