We are seeking an Endpoint Support Specialist to join our team at GTSC Talent Solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of endpoint security solutions and providing exceptional user support.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and implement security solutions, focusing on Microsoft Defender, McAfee suite, and Carbon Black.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of various technologies, including Windows platforms, SCCM, MDT/OSD, PowerShell/VBScript, Intune, O365, M365, MacOS, iOS, Android, Citrix, and more.
- Conduct infrastructure systems administration and perform Operations and Maintenance (O&M) server health assessments.
- Deliver quality customer service in a large IT enterprise environment, adhering to established SOPs and Work Instructions.
- Resolve complex technical issues while managing multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
- Collaborate effectively with remote teams of varying skill levels to provide support for McAfee, Carbon Black, and Microsoft Defender.
- Work independently with a strong focus on detail and follow-through.
- Provide guidance on user and machine group policies.
- Maintain distribution points across various sites, including vendor locations when necessary.
- Engage with Application teams to test new software integrations.
- Troubleshoot application-related issues within the end-user environment.
- Stay updated on end-user market trends and participate in relevant industry workgroups.
- Identify and communicate environmental issues efficiently to colleagues and management.
- Document workflows and processes meticulously.
- Utilize remote desktop tools effectively, such as Bomgar.
- Apply knowledge of Microsoft support tools, including DNS, storage, and networking.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience managing and deploying McAfee software across enterprise workstations and servers.
- Familiarity with other EDR/antivirus or FIM products, such as Crowdstrike, Cylance, and Tanium.
- Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, network protocols, and SQL.
- Basic knowledge of Linux distributions and command line interfaces.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server OS (Win10, Server 2012 or higher).
