Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Counsel to join our team. As a Counsel, you will be responsible for analyzing legislation and regulatory requirements, preparing and interpreting legal documents, and reviewing company policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare regulatory filings and assist with responding to federal and state administrative and regulatory agencies
  • Provide legal support to business functional areas to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
  • Analyze legislation and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
  • Draft contracts, policies, and other documents needed to support our strategy, values, and goals
  • Ensure company compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and Code of conduct
  • Support corporate governance requirements
  • Research and advise on legislative and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to be seen as a trusted advisor
  • Ability to interpret statutes, regulations, policies, and other contracts
  • Ability to identify risk and provide solutions that support company goals while mitigating risk and maintaining compliance
  • Decision-making ability to set work priorities and make recommendations

This is a remote position.

The base salary range for a Counsel role is $79,200.00 to $150,000.00. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance.
