We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Sales Specialist to join our team at Volkswagen of Inver Grove. As a key member of our parts department, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the parts sales process from start to finish, ensuring seamless communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding parts status and availability.
  • Utilize the parts catalog to efficiently locate and retrieve parts, ensuring accurate billing and inventory management.
  • Respond to phone calls and emails, providing price quotes and other information to customers.
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders, maintaining accurate records and minimizing errors.
  • Coordinate daily shipments, deliveries, and pickups, ensuring efficient and timely logistics.
  • Organize and manage the parts department's schedule of deliveries, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Perform safe and efficient pick-ups and deliveries, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Keep the parts department up-to-date on delivery schedules, ensuring accurate planning and execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, ensuring the success of our team and the dealership.
Qualifications:
  • A genuine desire to help our customers and provide exceptional service.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Auto parts knowledge and experience preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience in an automotive parts counter or service department environment.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software systems.
  • A clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle safely.
