The Division of General Surgery, Trauma, and Surgical Critical Care at AMN Healthcare is actively seeking exceptional candidates for two critical roles: an Acute Care Surgeon and a Burn Surgeon. These positions are designed for board-eligible or certified general surgeons with a keen interest in surgical critical care. Candidates with fellowship training and board certification in Surgical Critical Care are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in a dynamic practice of acute care surgery, trauma, and elective general surgery, including on-call responsibilities for burn surgery.
- The burn-focused surgeon will allocate clinical time between burn coverage (both inpatient and outpatient) and trauma/acute care surgery.
- Contribute to career advancement through mentorship in clinical and academic settings.
- Provide services at a recognized ACS-verified Level II trauma center.
- Participate in scholarly activities, including research and education for trainees, with comprehensive support from residents and medical students.
