Chief of Colorectal Surgery Position in Southwest Connecticut

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Colorectal Surgery to join our team at Enterprisemed in Southwest Connecticut. As a leading healthcare organization, we offer a unique opportunity for a talented surgeon to lead our colorectal surgery program and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide surgical consultation and care to patients with diverse colorectal diseases, including complex anorectal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and cancer treatment.
- Lead and manage the colorectal surgery program, including developing and implementing strategies for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in quality, safety, and education initiatives for all staff.
- Teach and mentor surgical trainees.
- Participate in committees and work closely with the Chair of the Department of Surgery on community outreach initiatives and innovative clinical redesign projects.
- Board-certified in General Surgery and fellowship-trained in colorectal surgery with additional robotics experience.
- 7+ years of clinical experience in colorectal practice, as well as leadership skills.
- Dedication to team building and participation in strategic programmatic growth initiatives.
