About the Role
Hartford Healthcare (HHC) is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their Orthopaedic Surgery team. As a key member of the team, you will work alongside experienced professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical plans to treat patients
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to other healthcare team members or specialists
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of practice, as designated by protocols
Requirements
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Training as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- 2+ years' experience in surgery, with a preference for experience first-assisting in orthopaedic surgery
