About the Role

At Children's Wisconsin, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care to our young patients. As a Radiology Informatics Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our radiologists, referring physicians, and staff clinicians. Your primary responsibilities will include retrieving films, managing electronic images, locating patient information, recording image releases, and uploading and burning CDs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exemplify Children's values and demonstrate a commitment to customer service.
  • Provide support services to patients, families, and staff, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to CHW policies and HIPAA statutes.
  • Process imaging exams, create CDs, and mail imaging documents as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic anatomy knowledge and medical terminology understanding.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in EHR and PACS systems.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, work independently, and maintain attention to detail.
Working Conditions

This role is based in a general office environment with minimal exposure to dust and noise. You'll work in a setting where there's no reasonable potential for exposure to blood or other high-risk body fluids.

Schedule
