About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Mechanical Portfolio Discipline Leader to join our team at Brown and Caldwell. Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of process mechanical engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards and that technical excellence is maintained.
  • Project Management: Manage project workload, staffing, and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, design managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met and that issues are resolved promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required standards and that quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Professional Development: Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field, such as Civil, Environmental, Sanitary, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in a related field, with a strong background in process mechanical engineering and project management.
  • Registration: Professionally registered engineer, with licensure in California preferred.
  • Skills: Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
