The Opportunity:
HKA has made significant strides in expanding our Forensic Accounting service line. To continue this momentum, we are seeking qualified and experienced professionals in Accounting/Finance with relevant expertise in the Forensics domain. Whether your focus is on Commercial Damages, Investigations, or you are a Generalist, we are eager to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations to validate allegations using established investigative methods and cutting-edge technology.
  • Develop and manage materials to support our Expert Witnesses, including Expert Reports.
  • Perform technology-driven data analysis to uncover anomalies, relationships, or trends utilizing advanced analytics and visualization tools.
  • Execute business valuations, including utilizing and reviewing relevant software tools for research and data analysis.
  • Communicate findings and articulate work products to partners and clients as necessary.
  • Draft sections of expert reports.
  • Manage client interactions effectively.
  • Engage in business development activities and participate in networking events.
  • Provide training and mentorship to colleagues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, economics, or business management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CPA, CFE, Forensic Accountant, or in a similar capacity, with at least 2 years in Forensic Accounting, Commercial Damages, Valuations, or Disputes.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality analyses with strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid technical foundation in Data Analysis and Data Modeling. Experience with SQL is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strategic thinker comfortable navigating ambiguity.
