We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Director to lead our creative communications process, including brand strategy, marketing, film, social media, and overall brand experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design, copy, and web best practices, as well as experience in social media content development and platform management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective communications messages and strategies with Life Center ministries.
- Support Life Center leaders in conveying their vision and communications priorities to appropriate audiences through social media, graphic design, and engaging video content.
- Lead and develop the Communications and Resource Center Teams.
- Recommending staffing and compensation changes.
- Ensure all employees understand and adhere to the Communications Style Guide and other branding elements in all written and electronic communications and marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in art, graphic design, marketing, or communications.
- 5 to 8 years of related experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with a variety of software including Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, and others as relevant.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Employs appropriate relationship management skills.
- Understanding of copyright protection and usage.
This job operates in a professional office and ministry environment. The primary campus location for this role is Central. Position is a full-time in-person position and may allow for occasional remote work as designed and approved by supervisor. Local travel may be required occasionally for All Staff Meetings.
