Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Lead to join our Design & Engineering team in North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in mechanical engineering, providing technical guidance and expertise to drive the development of best-in-class data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead regional Design Engineering activities, aligning SMEs on engineering opinions, expectations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Director-level team leads to develop team goals, expectations, growth opportunities, budgets, and priorities.
  • Represent the mechanical engineering discipline in Centers of Excellence (CoE) collaborations and maintain strong connections with cross-functional teams.
  • Exemplify thought leadership, empowering SMEs to develop and share their expertise.
  • Provide guidance and support for all mechanical engineering projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with project goals and company objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Registration as a US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical design and construction, with data center and/or mission critical experience required.
  • Strong understanding of design, construction, commissioning, and operations processes for North American development projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
