Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Santa Clara, CA area. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and shaping the future of advanced industrial, semiconductor, biotech, healthcare, and pharmaceutical facilities for leading high-tech companies.
Responsibilities- Lead and produce technical project plans, specifications, drawings, and models that meet our specifications and client needs.
- Create, influence, and finalize designs involving plumbing, HVAC systems, industrial ventilation, process piping, and other mechanical building systems.
- Work with senior engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve specific objectives and resolve complex problems.
- Apply standard design techniques and procedures, exercising judgment to adapt and modify design concepts.
- Ensure quality control by complying with company and team design and CAD standards.
- Coordinate with other design disciplines to develop design packages and lead, direct, and mentor associate engineers and designers.
- Perform field verifications and site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, qualifying for licensure in the state of practice.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of practice or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, PIPE-FLO, or similar hydraulic modeling software.
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience with designs containing HVAC, chillers, boilers, pump hydraulics, exhaust, process chemicals, wastewater discharge, or other similar mechanical building systems.
- Experience in chemical distribution systems is a plus.
- Ability to interface with customers to define scope of work and basis of design.
- Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $160,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and certifications.
