About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our Neurostimulation team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our implantable neuro devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design changes for our neuro devices
  • Lead technical discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including BOMs, specs, and drawings
  • Support CAPA and RPI initiatives, including possible CAPA ownership
  • Provide input to new product development teams and research new technologies to improve our products
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of mechanical engineering experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Proficient knowledge of implantable generators and leads
  • Working level understanding of implantable procedures, clinical use conditions, new indications, competitive product landscape, and state-of-the-art industry status
  • Proficient knowledge of medical device industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements

Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excl. PR): $110,400.00 - $165,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
