About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our Radar Systems team, you will be responsible for designing and developing power circuits and systems used in radar applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop power circuits and systems for radar applications
  • Work with senior engineers and subject matter experts to design power circuits and subsystems
  • Lead junior power engineers through mentoring and technical guidance
  • Conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, and interface with vendors
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems
  • Support failure analysis, material review board processing, and discrepancy documentation

You will be part of a dynamic team of engineers and scientists working on cutting-edge radar systems. Our team is dedicated to advancing scientific discovery and harnessing innovation to make the world a safer place.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Experience with analog circuits, design, and analysis
  • Experience with power systems design, including linear and switch mode power supplies
  • Experience with PSPICE and/or LTSPICE tool
  • Experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital volt meters, and waveform generators
  • Experience with printed circuit board design
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
