Principal RF Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our Integrated Warfare System and Solutions (IWSS) team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced radar systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop RF Power Amplifiers used in Radar Applications operating at UHF, L, S, and X-Band.
- Work alongside other Senior Engineers and Subject Matter Experts to design power amplifier circuits and transmitter subsystems.
- Lead junior RF engineers through mentoring and technical guidance.
- Conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, interface with vendors, test transmitter, power, and analog circuitry, and interact with engineers of other disciplines.
- Develop technical solutions to complex problems.
- Support failure analysis, Material Review Board processing, discrepancy documentation, resolution, and troubleshooting.

Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a related Master's degree.
- Experience with amplifiers and impedance matching networks, ADS, HFSS, CS Microwave Studio, and other RF simulation and analysis tools.
- Transmit/Receive Module Design, including printed circuit board schematics and layout, and construction.
- Lab Equipment, including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Volt Meters, Vector Network Analyzers, etc.
- Ability to obtain and hold a US DoD Secret Security clearance.
- EMI/EMC Experience: MIL-STD-461
- Basic understanding of magnetics
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written/verbal skills
- High Power RF Testing
- Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment
