About the Job

Job Summary:

This is an inpatient nursing position within the University of New Mexico - Hospitals dialysis home CCPD department. We are seeking an experienced RN to join our team as a Nurse Clinician for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients.
  • Work within hospitals, nursing division, and departmental policies.
  • Implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations.
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained.
  • Participate in orientation and assume precepting responsibilities upon completion of preceptor training.
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families.

Required Qualifications:

  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days.
  • RN license in NM or reciprocal agreement by NM.
