Nursing Team Leader Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient team at the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Nursing Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 per year (dependent on experience)

About the Position

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions in fast-paced environments. You will be responsible for coordinating the care of patients on assigned shifts and supervising nursing staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assign and supervise nursing personnel to meet patient needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (non-essential)
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Current certification in CPR/BLS
