Preventive Maintenance Specialist

Madison-Kipp Corporation is seeking a skilled Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on die cast machines, machining equipment, and auxiliary equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PM's for all diecasting and CNC equipment.
- Assist in developing PM procedures for new and existing equipment based on equipment failures or conditions.
- Use proper tools and gaging equipment as required to complete required tasks.
- Work within the required software to close out work orders
- Identify potential sources of breakdowns.
- Issue out wearable items as needed to complete required tasks.
- Issue work orders as needed for required support.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Heavy manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, excessive heat and cold, dirt, grease, smoke, dust, and molten metal. Working aloft, bending, and awkward positions.
Qualifications:
Must have completed, or be willing to complete and be actively enrolled in school, a 1-year certificate in industrial maintenance courses. Must be a self-starter and possess mechanical aptitude. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds. Knowledge of PLC programs, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical is required.
