We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Equipment Specialist to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America in Richmond. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production, packaging, and processing equipment.

Your primary focus will be on completing maintenance requirements, both planned and unplanned, to ensure the optimal performance of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will involve reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

You will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, completing work orders in a timely manner, and assisting in maintaining our parts and supplies inventory.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong attention to detail. Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
