Daily Responsibilities:
The client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist with a Windows 11 upgrade initiative. The selected candidate will engage directly with hardware troubleshooting, interact with end users, manage the ticketing system, and document issues accordingly. This role involves overseeing end users while executing PC, laptop, and software upgrades.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in software and hardware installations, configuring Windows PC systems, and providing advanced troubleshooting support. Responsibilities will include tracking inventory and assets, as well as installing and configuring systems. The technician is expected to refresh a significant number of machines weekly, ensuring efficient deployment and disposal processes.
Given the customer-facing nature of this role, strong communication skills are vital for success.
