Role Summary
As a Print and Copy Equipment Technician at Sage Solutions Group, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and configuration of printing devices, providing technical support, training, and internal assistance. This position is temporary and is designed to enhance our operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Equipment Setup and Configuration

  • Unpack and prepare new equipment orders
  • Assemble products within the facility
  • Adjust device settings prior to deployment
  • Integrate additional accessories and peripherals
  • Update firmware and label devices accordingly
  • Assist with the delivery of new equipment to client locations
  • Support the removal of outdated equipment as necessary
  • Conduct site evaluations and assessments
  • Provide afternoon coverage in the warehouse

Technical Support and Maintenance

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and cleaning for clients as per contractual agreements
  • Collaborate with the MACD department to ensure accurate information flow
  • Work with various brands including HP, Konica, Lexmark, and Xerox
  • Manage the setup, configuration, and installation of devices
  • Follow internal operational processes
  • Adhere to customer-specific procedures

Team Collaboration

  • Engage in inter-departmental communication
  • Participate in departmental meetings and one-on-one discussions
  • Be available for on-call support as needed
  • Contribute to special projects, including out-of-town assignments
  • Focus on personal and professional development

Qualifications

  • Experience in printer and copier repair
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Compliance with safety standards
  • Experience operating a lift gate
  • Capability to load delivery vehicles
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Preferred: Certifications from HP, Xerox, and Konica Minolta
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems
  • Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow and EA
  • Knowledge of third-party print solutions
  • Preferred: Experience with Printer Logic, HP Security Manager, and LRS
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with a desire for growth
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 suite
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities
