Position: Manager, Product Marketing

Location: Remote or Hybrid

Overview: We are in search of a dedicated and consumer-focused product marketing professional for the Culligan Installed Solutions segment, which encompasses Whole Home, Under the Sink, Showerheads, and Faucet Mount filtration systems. This role presents a unique opportunity within a category that is undergoing a significant transformation. In this dynamic setting, you will play a crucial role within the marketing team—driving the innovation pipeline, establishing product positioning, crafting messaging, and formulating launch strategies—while connecting product development with marketing communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Product Strategy and Positioning: Collaborate with the Product Marketing Director to outline the innovation pipeline and develop new product development briefs. Lead the creation of product insights and consumer research plans to uncover new product innovation opportunities. Regularly analyze market trends to identify potential areas for portfolio enhancement.
  • Pricing & Portfolio Management: Assist the Director and product development team in determining optimal pricing strategies and portfolio configurations to achieve market share and profit objectives. Conduct pricing studies and manage product exclusivity agreements with key retailers.
  • Product Packaging: Oversee the briefing, routing, and approval processes for packaging design to ensure timely completion.
  • Product Communications & Go-to-Market Strategy: Work closely with Product Development to validate product claims and messaging; maintain a comprehensive claims database. Develop strategic product toolkits for stakeholders, including Sales and Marketing Communications, to facilitate product launches. Coordinate with Brand Communications teams to create integrated marketing plans.
  • Digital Asset Management: Manage the implementation of product assets, including names, descriptions, and imagery across the entire Culligan consumer product portfolio.
  • Post-Launch Evaluation: Analyze new product sales performance and marketing initiatives post-launch, recommending enhancements and identifying opportunities for increased sales velocity.
  • Category Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of pricing, positioning, competitive dynamics, and category needs. Transform data into actionable insights to recommend a comprehensive product assortment that drives sales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline; an MBA is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in brand or product marketing, particularly in new product innovation within the consumer goods sector. Experience in beauty, health and wellness, household goods, or small appliances is preferred.
  • Ability to distill complex product features into compelling consumer benefits.
  • Experience in leveraging consumer insights for product innovation and packaging design.
  • Demonstrated success in executing effective product launch strategies.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously within a complex cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with analyzing syndicated data and consumer insights to inform recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills across functions.
