Overview: The Technology Strategy Leader for Consumer Products will collaborate with our Consumer Products Division to ensure that the technological infrastructure is advanced and supports both current operations and future expansion. This position is pivotal in shaping and implementing our technology vision within Culligan's Consumer Products sector while ensuring alignment with global strategies and platforms. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with extensive knowledge of retail, e-commerce, and supply chain technology, coupled with a proven ability to utilize technology for driving efficiency, innovation, and competitive differentiation. This role will engage directly with CPD Executive Leadership and various organizational leaders, including those in Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance. As a leadership role, it will involve leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams while also contributing technically to define, design, and execute the technology strategy, resolve technical challenges, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and quality within our Consumer Products operations. Initially, this role will operate independently while building a team to support CPD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Consumer Products Business Units and Culligan Technology Leaders to formulate and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and drives digital transformation.
- Establish and maintain technology systems and solutions to streamline retail operations, including product management, shopping cart functionality, fulfillment, secure payment processing, and data governance.
- Supervise the development and execution of IT systems to improve supply chain transparency, demand forecasting, inventory oversight, and distribution logistics.
- Coordinate with ERP systems and implementation initiatives to ensure effective and value-driven integration with manufacturing and supply chain performance and data management.
- Work collaboratively to optimize data through actionable dashboards, analytics, and KPIs that inform decision-making.
- Oversee the execution of the IT Plan of Record/program strategy supporting CPD.
- Manage vendor partnerships to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing support.
- Supervise operational services and projects for CPD.
- Ensure that disaster recovery, business continuity, risk management, and access control measures are effectively implemented and meet expectations.
- Coordinate with Americas IT Leadership on global standards, processes, and service providers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supporting global online retail, brick-and-mortar, and e-commerce.
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
- Extensive experience with modern web architectures and operational delivery of consumer products.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, technologies, and best practices, including EDI platforms and protocols.
- Proficient in data warehousing and management, including SQL.
- Exceptional project management skills with a history of successful technology implementations.
- Experience with ERP systems, data analytics, and business intelligence tools; ideally, SAP or Sage.
- Familiarity with industry-specific compliance and regulatory standards.
- Adaptable to change and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
- Strong written, presentation, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Experience with agile and lean project management methodologies.
