About the Role

The Culinary Administrator is a part-time position responsible for providing administrative support to the Office Manager and Executive Chef within the culinary department at Oak View Group. This role requires the ability to work weekdays and weekends, with flexibility to accommodate on-call/event-based scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Assist in managing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for the culinary department, including regular updates to the BEO production bulletin board and individual BEO records.
  • Inventory Management: Contribute to the oversight of food and labor cost management, support monthly inventory processes, and manage updates to inventory pricing.
  • Purchase Order Management: Oversee the Purchase Order (PO) system for the culinary department and coordinate scheduling through the WhenIWork application.
  • Timekeeping and Compliance: Conduct daily audits of ADP time sheets to ensure accurate timekeeping and ensure adherence to break compliance regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate as a team player, focusing on efficient preparation, high-quality service, and timely delivery of products.
Requirements
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Possess strong communication skills, including the ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Certifications: Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.
