Job Summary:

As a Senior Sales Strategist at Corporate Strategic Resourcing, you will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies in large Mass and/or Club retail accounts. You will support the development of strategy and sales plans with other National accounts in accordance with corporate goals. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and build relationships with the accounts' Merchant Teams to deliver annual sales and profit targets and establish short and long-term sales goals for all retail products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies in large Mass and/or Club retail accounts.
  • Support the development of strategy and sales plans with other National accounts.
  • Manage and build relationships with the accounts' Merchant Teams.
  • Provide P&L oversight for accounts to maximize profitability.
  • Develop annual sales and marketing plans with Executive Commercial Director.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Marketing to help define go-to-market strategies.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and develop strategies to position brands as category leaders.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning to create annual forecasts and provide monthly updates.
  • Advise marketing on market demand and insights.
  • Support and collaborate with Brand Protection and Marketing to remedy problems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of CPG sales experience in large Mass and Club retail account management.
  • Commercial awareness, marketing, and sales background.
  • In-depth understanding of developing and executing sales & marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills.
  • Actively prepare and communicate business unit KPIs to the executive team and other business units.
  • Working knowledge of retail contracts and understanding Terms and Conditions.
  • Pet category experience or CPG experience required.
  • Domestic travel 5%-10%.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or sales/marketing related discipline, with a minimum of five years related experience and/or training.
