Mastech Digital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing domain, you will be responsible for assisting other manufacturing engineers and production teams in developing, transitioning, and executing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aid in and lead transitions from engineering to production using standard operating procedures.
- Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Design and develop fixturing and tooling using solid modeling programs and create properly dimensioned drawings to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Write and present technical reports, create procedures for use by other engineering or management personnel, and develop good writing skills.
- Collect and analyze data, and prepare technical presentations and briefings.
- Support sales through proposal writing, conducting analysis, and generating solutions to customers' requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or another related field.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing efficiency, Lean practices, and solid modeling programs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on a W2 basis.
