About the Company:

We are a privately owned international specialty chemical firm serving customers in various industries, including industrial, petroleum, agrisciences and coatings. With decades of experience, we operate on three continents and have expanded significantly in recent years, both geographically and in sales revenue.

Position Overview:

In light of our growth, we are seeking a seasoned sales director to manage our sales and new business development efforts globally. This role entails developing, executing, and managing the firm's sales strategies worldwide, as well as serving as the primary interface between suppliers and the sales force.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage global sales and new business development initiatives
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for international markets
  • Provide market trends, data, and analysis to senior leaders
  • Negotiate and maintain commercial relationships with key suppliers
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of chemical sales experience
  • Prior sales management experience in the chemicals industry
  • Experience working with international firms purchasing bulk chemicals, especially in Latin America
  • Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor's degree; technical degree preferred
Benefits:
