About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Virginia Cancer Institute. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The estimated salary for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Your responsibilities will include managing the physician's weekly patient schedule, preparing patient charts, checking insurance, referrals, and co-pays. You will also be required to maintain the physician's hospital list, add/remove patients, and add information for billing. Additionally, you will need to schedule provider, Lab, and CT appointments for patients, write CT orders, and scan necessary documents into the EMR system.

Key Requirements

  • 1-2 years of general office experience, preferably in the medical field
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
